The multi-award-winning German pianist, composer, and singer presents her newest songs. The new Olivia Trummer Trio ventures beyond boundaries, shaping an original musical language rooted in jazz, preserving its depth and values while infusing it with catchy melodies, spontaneous inventiveness, instrumental virtuosity, and engaging grooves. Olivia’s latest songs speak of unexpected crossroads in life, of a love capable of dissolving the boundaries of space and time, and invite listeners to see the world with fresh, wide-open eyes.

Olivia Trummer is regarded as one of the most intriguing and original jazz musicians of her generation. With her distinctive piano approach and unique voice, she forges entirely new connections between genres—an artistry that has already earned her numerous accolades. Born into a family of musicians, Olivia began piano studies at the age of four and quickly developed a passion for improvisation and composition. She went on to earn degrees in both Jazz Piano and Classical Piano from the University of Music in Stuttgart, followed by a Master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music in New York. Her formative years in the jazz capital, combined with a deep-rooted love of classical music, continue to inspire her creative universe. Initially celebrated for her pianism and compositions, Olivia has also emerged as a captivating vocalist and songwriter, earning praise from audiences and international media alike. Her lyrics strike a careful balance between intellect and emotion. She is now seen as a rare example of a European pianist-singer-composer “still able to compete with American musicians—the gold standard to this day” (Jazzpodium). This reputation is further underlined by a thrilling new collaboration with legendary American producer Russ Titelman, who has worked with Eric Clapton, Rickie Lee Jones, Randy Newman, George Benson, Steve Winwood, Chaka Khan, and many others, winning three Grammy Awards in the process. In 2024, Titelman invited Olivia to collaborate, resulting in her eleventh album, "Like Water"—a solo piano and voice recording made in New York and released in June 2025 on Warner Music Italy, following her albums "For You" and "Dialogue’s Delight". Olivia has long performed internationally, captivating audiences in Germany, Italy, the USA, Japan, China, Denmark, Austria, Ireland, England, France, Switzerland, Israel, and the Czech Republic. Her genre-crossing projects have graced prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall (New York), Konzerthaus (Berlin), Porgy & Bess (Vienna), National Concert Hall (Dublin), Pizza Express Live (London), Teatro La Fenice (Venice), and Teatro Capovolto (Trento), as well as festivals including Jazz Fest London, Umbria Jazz, Time in Jazz, Jazz Open Stuttgart, Jazzfest Bonn, JazzMi Milano, Venezia Jazz Festival, Galway Jazz Festival, Fränkischer Sommer, Ludwigsburg Festival, Jazz Open Hamburg, International Jazz Summer Augsburg, and Bachfest Ansbach. In addition to leading her own projects, she toured the world for eight years with Kurt Rosenwinkel’s "Caipi" project, performing at the Montreux, Montréal, and Vancouver Jazz Festivals, Ronnie Scott’s (London), Blue Note (Beijing, Tokyo), and New Morning (Paris). Other collaborations include the DR Bigband, Miho Hazama, NDR Bigband, SWR Bigband, Magnus Lindgren, Beethoven Orchester Bonn, Matt Penman, Obed Calvaire, Jimmy Cobb, Bobby McFerrin, Mario Biondi, Nicola Angelucci, Rosario Bonaccorso, Fabrizio Bosso, Tim Garland, Bodek Janke, Hadar Noiberg, and Jean-Lou Treboux.

Moscow-born Makar Novikov is one of Russia’s most renowned double bassists, with an extensive career as both sideman and soloist. He has performed with Jimmy Cobb, Clark Terry, Jimmy Heath, and James Spaulding, and regularly plays in trio formations with fellow Russian trumpeter Alex Sipiagin and Azerbaijani pianist Isfar Sarabski. While on tour in Italy, he was stranded there at the outbreak of the Russia–Ukraine war, carrying only one suitcase. Settling in northern Italy, he was quickly recognized as a valuable addition to the European jazz scene. Since 2023, he has taught at Siena Jazz Academy. In 2025, he will make his debut as a bandleader with an album for Rainy Days Records.

Israeli drummer Amir Bresler, a graduate with honors from the jazz program of the Thelma Yellin National High School of the Arts in Givatayim, has since established himself internationally as one of the most sought-after drummers of his generation. In 2010, he toured the world with celebrated bassist, vocalist, and composer Avishai Cohen. Since 2013, he has been a regular member of the Omer Klein Trio and collaborates with artists such as Sam Yahel, Mark Turner, Gilad Hekselman, Shai Maestro, and Yotam Silberstein. His playing is marked by imaginative fluidity and irresistible groove.
